
The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, and Proprietor of Redeemers College of Technology and Management, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has restated the commitment of the institution to raising world-class inventors, innovators and job creators.
Pastor Adeboye spoke at the 2nd Matriculation of the Redeemers College of Technology and Management (RECTEM) at the RCCG Province Coordinating Hall, Redemption Camp, Lagos-lbadan Expressway.
The event attended by students, parents, church leaders, government officials, industry players also featured an exhibition of various inventions by the students.
Pastor Adeboye, who was represented by The National Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Obayemi, was elated by the performance of the students.
“God is really working with them. They are doing great work. Their future is bright and glorious,” he said.
He added: “The students of the institution will be great innovators, inventors and some of them will make discoveries that will benefit the whole world.”
Also speaking, the Chairman Governing Council RECTEM, Prof. Johnson Odesola said RECTEM exists to raise champions in the fields of Science, Technology and Management.
“You will agree with me that these are areas of deficits in our society today and for society to be developed, these are areas that must receive attention,” he said.
Odesola assured the new students of the college’s commitment to making RECTEM the most comfortable place to learn, lead and live.
Also speaking at the event, the Acting Rector of RECTEM, Dr. Stella Mofunanya, lauded the contributions of Pastor Adeboye, his wife and the council of the institution to improving technology education in Nigeria.
“RECTEM is an institution where the fear of God reigns supreme and we are indeed committed to high moral and academic standards inline with our motto: Raising Champions”, she said.
