The Commissioner of Police, Osun state, CP Abiodun Ige says the state police command has intensified adequate security arrangements to ensure that this year’s Easter season is celebrated peacefully without fear of insecurity.
A release signed by the Public Relation Officer Kataye Mustapha said the arrangement is to re-assure the good people of the state about the readiness and level of preparedness of the police state command to guarantee adequate and intensive security as the season is expected to attract the influx of people from all works of life.
The state must also warned miscreants and hoodlums that the police will not condone any person or group of people suspected to be planning criminal acts as anyone found in this act will be dealt with according to the law.
The Osun state police command further appeal to members of the public to always give prompt and credible information in order to prevent the act of lawlessness and all infractions of the law.
