Police Commends Oyetola

Governor Gboyega Oyetola has been described as a complete gentleman who gives priority to security of lives and property of the people of the state of Osun.        

The assistant inspector general of police in charge of zone eleven, Adeleye Oyebade gave the description  during a courtesy visits to the governor in his office.

He appreciated the state government  for supporting the police at all times, especially during the general election held recently,        describing Osun as the best place to stay, as it is one of the safest states in the country.              

The police boss informed the governor that sequel to the approval of the inspector general of police, a security stakeholders forum will soon be held where strategies will be mapped out for community policing in the state.

According to him, participants in the security stakeholders forum are expected to identify the flash points and suggest ways of combating heinous crimes such as kidnapping. 

In his response, Governor Gboyega Oyetola appreciated the police for the wonderful job they did during the gubernatorial poll last year and this year’s general elections.

The state  helmsman noted that security is very important to development, hence his administration’s resolve to  continue supporting the police and other security agencies in  Osun.
