The house of representatives has adjourned for the Sallah break.
The lawmakers will resume on the 6th of next month, the day of the joint valedictory session of the national assembly.
The past few days has seen the house in a race to wrap up its legislative activities with the green chamber sitting for long hours in a bid to offload its pending work. It was expected that next week’s plenary would be the last sitting of the 8th house as the tenure of the house terminates on the 9th of June, which falls on a Sunday
