Governor State of Osun, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has urged the contractor handling Gbongan Ode Omu axis of the dual carriageway to respect the agreement reached by the two parties on the completion of the project in time.
Governor Oyetola made the appeal when he had a stopover at the project site on his way from Lagos.
He expressed satisfaction with the level and quality of works on the project in his conversation with the site engineer, Khador Khoroun.
The governor who assured the contractor that the government would not renege on its own promise urged the engineers to complete works on time for commissioning and eventual usage.
Mr. Oyetola who regretted the apparent hardship being experienced by motorists both intra and inter-state appealed to them to be calm as the nightmare will soon peter out. The governor used the avenue to also call on the citizens to pay their taxes to date and ensure protection of public property.
