The Deputy Governor of Osun state prince Kola Adewusi has ordered the creation of the traditional pilgrims welfare board in the name of giving all religion practitioner equal chance in government.
Prince Adewusi gave the order while addressing the leadership of Osun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
According to him “Since the Muslims have the Muslim pilgrims welfare board and the Christians also have theirs, in the name of fairness, it is expedient to create the traditional pilgrims welfare board for traditional worshippers”
OSBC Correspondent Saheed Adeboje said the Deputy Governor noted that every resident of Osun State irrespective of religious differences should have a sense of belonging in government.
Prince Adewusi who called on the leadership of the ministry of culture and tourism tp to improve in their activities maintained that the present administration is set to assist them accordingly.
Earlier, the Coordinating Director Mrs. Solabomi Akinsola explained roles of the ministry In showcasing the reach Yoruba culture.
She maintained that members of her ministry are always available at government functions to add glamour to such event.
Mrs. Akinsola pledged the readiness of her ministry to further project the present administration in a good limelight.
