Policemen have launched a rescue operation for a housewife, Mrs Grace Ameh, who was abducted at Gwagwa, a community in the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday.
Grace was reportedly taken away by the criminals who also shot her husband during the invasion of their home.
A resident said, “Madam Grace Ameh was abducted in Gwagwa while her husband was shot by the gunmen. He has been rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.”
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mariam Yusuf, confirmed the incident, adding that the police have mobilised to the area to rescue the kidnap victim and arrest the perpetrators.
