A third-year student of Federal University of Oye-Ekiti, Faderera Oloyede, has been found dead in a room in the Koko area of Iree community in Boripe Local Government of Osun State.
The room was said to be that of the 21-year-old’s boyfriend, Maliki Ayo, a student of Osun State Polytechnic, whom she reportedly visited on Tuesday.
The polytechnic denied that Ayo was their student.
Police spokesperson Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident, saying an arrest had been made.
